Rowan is a director, dramaturg, and scholar who is studying at Louisiana State University.

She graduated from WVU in 2020, where she directed original works, such as Goblin Leithris and Route 66, which was self-written. She has written three plays: The White Snake, Route 66, and the full-length Mad Liberals, which you can find a preview of on this site.

She graduated from FSU in 2022, where she did dramaturgical work for the mainstage production of As You Like It. Her research focus during her master’s program was historical European avant-garde theatre.

Rowan now studies at LSU in the doctoral program. Her research focus is the intersection of mad studies and the horror genre in theatre. She also has a minor in history, focusing on the World Wars and the Interwar period in Europe. While at LSU, she has acted as the head of house management since 2024 and has directed multiple shows, including No Exit and World Builders.

She has spoken at ASTR and ATHE multiple times, and has work published in JADT.
